Favorite Verses: John 6:37

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

John 6:37

This verse had to go in my list of favorite verses because it has to be one of the most encouraging verses in the entire Bible.  Many people through the years have found comfort in this very verse, and it is still a great source of comfort to many even today.

“…him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”  Often, we feel (rightly so) that we are unworthy of the blessings that the Lord has given us.  We feel unworthy of salvation and we feel unworthy of forgiveness.  Sometimes, as Christians, we sin and we are we afraid and ashamed to come to the Lord Jesus for forgiveness.  There are some who feel that they have let Him down in some way and can never come to Him.  But then they find this verse.

“…him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”  Have you sinned?  Come to Him and He has promised that He will not cast you out.  Are you alone and in the depths of depression?  Come to Him and He has promised that He will not cast you out.  Have you made a failure of your entire life?  Come to Him and He has promised that He will not cast you out.

We should never fear coming to Jesus.  We should never come to Him with the idea that He might reject us for one reason or another.  “…him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”  Come to Jesus.  Come freely.  Come quickly.  Come often.  Come always.  And rest in the knowledge that He will never cast you out!

I will be away from the computer for a couple of weeks.  Feel free to comment, and I will respond when I get back.  Thanks for reading and commenting and God bless!
